This workshop examines how parliaments and individual parliamentarians are adopting AI tools in practice, drawing on evidence and case examples from the past twelve months. It will focus on applied tools, prototypes, and operational methodologies currently in use, showing how digitalisation within legislative institutions is shaping wider democratic dynamics.

WFD staff and external specialists will demonstrate practical applications, including workflow automation, analysis support, public engagement tools, and oversight functions enhanced by AI. The session will include a contribution from a parliamentary partner with direct experience implementing these approaches.
