This short, high-energy session at the Political Tech Summit will showcase innovations supported by the Better Politics Fund, tech-driven ideas that help political leaders govern better, connect with citizens, and rebuild trust in democracy while keeping digital safety and integrity at the centre.

The format will feature two to three innovators, current grantees or applicants, who are developing new digital tools and methods for political engagement, leadership support, and cyber-secure participation. Through a moderated showcase and mini-demo conversation, the session will highlight how technology can make politics more effective, ethical, and human-centered, while protecting both political actors and citizens from online risks such as surveillance, harassment, and misinformation.

The discussion will introduce the Better Politics Fund’s mission and link these examples to its broader vision of strengthening democratic leadership and digital resilience. 

The goal is to give visibility to emerging solutions, and the leaders behind them, to inspire collaboration between technologists, funders, and political actors working to make politics both innovative and safe.
