The Future of Political Tech
Vision stage
“The Future of Political Tech” brings together three innovators from three continents to explore where campaigns, civic engagement, and democratic infrastructure are headed next. Stalin Muthusamy (PlanPol, India), Leah Bae (Higher Ground Labs, US), and Patrick Frank (Lunda, Europe) will compare how different political systems, regulatory environments, and funding models shape the tools being built—from AI-driven voter analytics and creator-led persuasion to civic platforms, party infrastructure, and movement tech.
The session will unpack what’s scaling globally, what remains context-specific, and how we can avoid a new “political tech divide” between well-resourced actors and everyone else. Expect a forward-looking conversation on shared challenges (trust, transparency, regulation), concrete examples from recent campaigns, and a candid debate on what a more ethical, inclusive, and interoperable political tech ecosystem could look like by 2030.
