If Democracy Were a Business with 8 Billion Users

Tornike Abuladze, co-founder of My Voice Counts, will take us through his journey of building a digital platform for anonymous public voting at national scale - almost a modern plebiscite.
He approaches this not only as a founder, but also as one of the most active angel investors in his country, with 30+ years of experience in very successful business - someone who sees the commercial side of political technology, the market logic behind it, and the importance of having real products instead of one-off projects.
In the talk, Tornike will also touch on why most political tech is still built in-house for parties and campaigns, and why opening up the sector could finally turn what is essentially an 8-billion-user system into a real market.
