Alexandra is a German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Greens/EFA group, serving since 2019. Her political work focuses on digital democracy, sustainable digitalization, and gender equality, with a particular emphasis on platform regulation and the Digital Services Act. She is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, and the Budget Committee, and has served as a coordinator for the Greens in the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AIDA) and the newly formed European Democracy Shield (EUDS) committee.
