Astrid began her journalism career as a trainee and later telecommunications correspondent at the Financial Times Deutschland, before becoming technology correspondent for Manager Magazin. She also served, among other roles, as Head of the Corporate Department at Wirtschaftswoche, and in 2019 became Editor-in-Chief of the professional network Xing, where she was also a member of the executive management team. From 2015 to 2016, she was a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University. Since October 2023, she has been with dpa.
