David is Co‑Director of the Knowledge Lab for Social Research at Palumba.org, a nonprofit focused on data‑driven insights into democracy, civic tech and political participation. In this role he helps steer social research initiatives, produce analytical content, and support evidence‑based storytelling that informs civic engagement strategies. He holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs – Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris, and has also studied at the Stockholm School of Economics. Prior to his role at Palumba, Kirschner has been involved in research and strategy projects that bridge social science, policy analysis and digital innovation.
