Jonathan is a scientist and cross-functional leader, acting in this role as the Head of Engineering & AI at Wikimedia Deutschland since 2022. He spent a life exploring space science and education for a decade -- teaching astrophysics, data science, and leadership in three countries. Through his role at WMDE, Jonathan has worked with the Head of Product Development to nearly double the software development department and impact in three years, including creating the first software product to engage with the generative-AI web through Wikidata.
