Carrington
Joshua is a technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the UK Labour Party, a role he took on in January 2025. In this position he leads the Party’s technology strategy and digital infrastructure, driving innovation and supporting operations across organisational systems. Prior to his current role, Carrington co-founded ChangeLab, a worker-owned cooperative focused on progressive technology solutions, and has been involved with platforms designed for trade unions and movement-building initiatives. Earlier in his career he worked in technology and consulting, including roles in election technology and technical product development. He studied Computer Science and German at the University of Leicester and has experience spanning political technology, cooperative tech development, and strategic digital leadership.
