Katya is a Co-Founder and International Director of Participation Factory committed to driving democratic innovation and making sure everyone feels included. With over ten years of experience, she focuses on creating participation-driven processes and ensuring effective digital engagement that bring communities together and uphold values of democracy, human rights, and diversity. In the last years Katya has served as a member of the Digital Participation Committee of People Powered developing methodology and assessing digital engagement tools for the Digital Participation Platforms Ratings, led the development of the Civic Tech Market Report 2025. She is currently serving as a board member of People Powered helping to promote the best practices in participatory democracy around the globe.
