Mike Butcher MBE is a prominent British tech journalist and commentator, best known as Editor-at-Large for TechCrunch. He is widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in European technology, with extensive experience across major UK media and broadcasts including BBC, Sky News, CNBC, Channel 4, and Bloomberg. Mike co-founded several influential initiatives such as The Europas Awards, TechHub, Techfugees, TechVets, The Pathfounder series, and the Startup Coalition. He has advised UK Prime Ministers and the Mayor of London on technology policy and served as a judge on The Apprentice UK. In 2016, he was appointed MBE for his services to technology and journalism.
