Mikheil is the Founder of Rebut, an AI-powered platform for structured video debates that aims to strengthen democracy by enabling civil discourse online. Rebut provides public and private debate arenas with clear formats, moderation and meaningful audience interaction tools, transforming polarized digital debates into meaningful exchanges. Previously, Mikheil served as Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, as well as Vice Minister of Economy and Chief Trade Negotiator, where he led negotiations and implementation of Georgia’s Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area with the European Union and contributed to the country’s broader European integration agenda. Since leaving public office, he has advised governments and international organizations on trade, investment, and institutional reform, while increasingly focusing on the role of technology in democratic resilience, media, and civic engagement. His work bridges policy, governance, and political technology.
