Stephen Bonner is TikTok's EU Security leader. He joined from the UK Information Commissioner's Office where he was Deputy Commissioner - Regulatory Supervision. In that role, he was responsible for enforcement and investigations where he led some of the largest and most complex cyber and privacy cases. Prior to this, he spent a decade as a Partner in the Big4, helping global organisations navigate complex security challenges. His early career was in technology and finance where Stephen ran global security teams and was accountable for Cyber Security, Records Management, Data Privacy and Identity and Access Management for a global FS institution. When not working to provide a secure, joyful, and trusted experience online, he undertakes endurance challenges and is studying for a Crime Science MSc.
