Schulmann
Haya is a cybersecurity expert and academic known for her research and leadership in network and computer security. She is a professor of cybersecurity at the Institute of Computer Science at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and holds a prestigious LOEWE‑Spitzen‑Professur, a top research professorship in Germany. She also serves on the board of the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE, where she coordinates key research areas including analytics‑based cybersecurity and security for energy systems. Haya earned her education in computer science in Israel and has built a highly regarded academic and research career focusing on network security, cryptographic protocols, and applied cybersecurity. She has previously led research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT) and holds visiting positions at institutions such as Tel Aviv University. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the German IT Security Award from the Horst Görtz Foundation and the IETF/IRTF Applied Networking Research Prize.
